How to Register (Online)

Registration is mandatory for workers who want to avail benefits under MAHABOCW. You can register either online via the official portal or offline using Form-V at facilitation centres.

1. Visit the portal: Go to the official MAHABOCW portal at mahabocw.in.
2. Navigate: On the homepage click the "Workers" section, then select "Worker Registration".
3. Enter eligibility details: A new page will open — enter eligibility inputs such as age, days worked and residency.
4. Check eligibility: Click "Check Eligibility" to confirm your status.
5. Confirm notification: If eligible, a notification will pop up — click OK and proceed.
6. Proceed with Aadhaar: Enter your Aadhaar number and the mobile number currently in use, then click Proceed to Form.
7. Fill the form: The registration form will appear — fill in personal details, address (as per Aadhaar), family details and employment details.
8. Upload documents: Upload Aadhaar, proof of work, residence proof and other supporting documents. Tick the declaration and click Save.
9. Pay fees: Pay the registration fee of ₹1 and the annual subscription fee of ₹1 — online payment options are available.
10. Submit & save receipt: Click Submit to complete registration. Save the acknowledgement receipt for future reference.

Important (from Feb 5, 2025): Data entry at taluka facilitation centres has been discontinued. Workers must complete registration, renewals and claims online and then schedule document verification appointments at their convenience. Offline submission of forms is still accepted for those without digital access.

Offline Registration Process

For workers without digital access the offline process remains available — follow these steps:

1. Locate centre: Find your nearest taluka facilitation centre or MAHABOCW office. (List available on the portal under "Contact Us").
2. Get Form-V: Request Form-V (Worker Registration Form) from the centre or download & print it from the portal.
3. Fill the form: Fill in your name, Aadhaar number, address, bank details and work history (90+ days).
4. Attach documents: Attach photocopies of Aadhaar, residence proof and a passport-size photo.
5. Submit: Submit the completed form and documents to centre staff.
6. Pay fees: Pay ₹1 registration fee and ₹1 annual subscription in cash or as directed by the centre.
7. Receive receipt: After processing (typically 7–15 days) receive a receipt with your registration number.
8. Collect card or check online: Visit the centre later to collect your membership card or check your status online with the registration number.

Bring original documents for verification if asked.
